Impact Report
EveryChild leads community efforts to eliminate child abuse and neglect by strengthening children and families through prevention, education and treatment.
You help children find hope and healing. As we celebrate this past year, I thank you – our donors and supporters – for the lives you have allowed us to improve by preventing child abuse and neglect or helping children and families heal after abuse or trauma.
My journey with EveryChild ended in mid-September. It has been the honor of my lifetime to serve as the 5th Executive Director of EveryChild in our 46-year history.
I know I leave the organization stronger than when I started and in the very capable hands of Nicole Mann.
I am so grateful for the strong team of dedicated employees, volunteers, donors, and supporters that I had the privilege to work with every day, including you.
The compassion and perseverance you bring to EveryChild and our programs ensures that our community’s children and families will be stronger now and in the future.
Thank you for the impact you have made to EveryChild and the many young lives you have changed with your generosity. While I have left my formal role with the organization, I will continue to support it and its important mission and look forward to our paths crossing in the future.
Your partner in prevention,
Mark Mathews

Treatment
-
Our licensed therapists work with early childhood providers to promote positive social emotional development and behavioral health to help reduce the impact of mental health challenges among young children and their families.
-
Using play, in combination with therapy and case management, helps children ages 0-5 begin to heal from trauma exposure and prevent future trauma from occurring.
-
You help give children a safe place to tell their story and begin to heal after experiencing abuse or neglect. Our staff works alongside law enforcement, prosecutors, child welfare workers, healthcare professionals, and other service providers to provide support and specialized child advocacy center services while implementing a coordinated team approach aimed at keeping children and families safe and healthy.
