Laura Trinnaman
Founder and Executive Director

Laura Trinnaman has worked in adoption agency management, education, and family services for the past ten years and volunteered as a foster parent, respite care parent and as the coordinator of adoption support groups for the past 16 years. While living in Taiwan she fell in love with the children of Taiwan and soon recognized the need for adoptive families for Taiwanese children. She assisted FFC in creating its successful Taiwan Adoption Programs. More recently Laura has spent time in Haiti and has developed a great love for the Haitian culture and people and humanitarian projects that support women and children in Haiti. She is currently the executive director of For Every Child Adoption Services and oversees all aspects of FEC services and humanitarian projects. Laura's love for every child she meets is evident in her continued dedication and efforts on behalf of children and families in need. Laura is the mother of nine children, three adopted domestically in the U.S., two adopted from Taiwan, two adopted from Haiti and two biological children.

Shelley Stevens, LCSW, MSW
Director, Social Services


Shelley received her LSCW and MSW from the University of Utah. As Director of Social Services, she coordinates the review of all Home Studies reports submitted by partner agencies, oversees all placement recommendations, coordinates all social welfare staff, oversees all staff development and training, provides educational programs for foreign partners and coordinates all aspects of social welfare at FEC. Shelley has three decades of experience in providing services to families and children and a respected entity in child welfare organizations across the State of Utah. Personally and professionally committed to FEC's mission, she is the adoptive mother of four children.

James Trinnaman
Director, Business Operations


James Trinnaman has enjoyed a successful 20 year career as an executive in the high-tech industry. As the Director of Business Operations for FEC he is responsible for day-to-day business management, business development, finances, adoption programs oversight, and ensuring the integrity and success of our adoption programs.James has been involved in adoption for 12 years, and in addition to his extensive experience managing in corporate environments, he has first had experience living and working internationally, specifically in the Asian region. James is the husband of Laura Trinnaman, Executive Director of FEC, and is the father of nine children, seven of whom are adopted.

Samantha Collier, S.S.W.
Program Social Worker and
Post Placement Coordinator

Samantha joined FEC in early 2008 and comes to FEC with a long resume of social welfare experience for government and private agencies. Her social welfare work has included services provided to birth families, foster and adoptive families, all aspects of child welfare planning and adoption placement screening. Samantha coordinates adoptive family education for FEC, coordinates post placement services in Utah and oversees host family education and training. Samantha is the proud mother of three daughters.

Sally Chang
Taiwan In-Country Coordinator

Sally has been an important part of the FEC Taiwan Adoption Programs since their beginning. She is the Chinese mother of two children and currently resides in and is a native of Taiwan. Sally has studied in Taiwan, Japan and the United States. She is a successful business woman with ties throughout Asia and is an accomplished musician. Sally works daily with social service organizations in Taiwan on behalf of FEC. She is a committed team member who loves the hope adoption brings to the children of Taiwan in need of forever families.
